POE Power Boxes

At Kuva Systems, the original power boxes shipped with the cameras were too large. They were also expensive since they were bought individually and manually modified. The objective was to design a power box in which only assembly was required.

Designed for mounting compatibility with either hose clamps or clips
Opened cable outlets and milled labels
3D printed components (red) to help cable organization and plug outlet when not in use
Sourced supplier and converter

The resulting power boxes had a smaller footprint and less empty space while achieving a cleaner look. New components and less required labor resulted in a 40% reduction in production costs.
